You have probably seen the meme. Someone shows you a famous head of hair, asks who it is, you answer with total confidence, and then the full photo lands. This page is the guess the celebrity by their hair prank, built as a free game you can play right now and a funny quiz you can send to your friends.
How the hair quiz works
You get a close crop of the hair and forehead, sometimes with the eyes as well. Pick one of four names. Then the full photo shows up with the answer. Played alone it is a decent quiz. Sent to a friend who swears they know every celebrity, it turns into a troll.
Each round has several faces and the faster you answer, the more points you get. There is no sign up and no download.
A good rule is to look past the style and ask who has that kind of hairline. Easy rounds give you a lot of forehead. Hard and Insane give you far less, which is where the arguments start.
Tips for the hair prank quiz
- Study the hairline. The parting, a widow’s peak or a receding corner are harder to change than a haircut.
- Do not trust colour. Hair colour changes from one photo to the next more than any other feature, so go by shape and parting.
- Forget the haircut you remember. Famous people change their style all the time, so think about the face under the hair.
- Use Show more when a hairline will not click. A wider crop often settles it for one point.
Why this one is a good troll
The guess the celebrity hair meme works because everyone is certain. Nobody expects to be wrong about a famous person, and that is exactly why the reveal is funny. Play a round to see how it feels, then make a quiz of your own and watch your group chat argue about it.
Questions people ask
Is this the guess the celebrity by their hair prank meme?
It is the same idea, turned into a game. You see a close crop of a famous head of hair, make your guess, then the full photo shows up and it is often not who you expected. It is a prank game, so the fun is in being confidently wrong. Play a round, then send one to a friend.
Is there a guess the celebrity by their hair quiz with answers?
Yes. After each guess you see the correct name and the full photo, so every round doubles as a quiz with answers.
Why is it so hard to guess a celebrity by their hair?
Hair changes more than any other feature. Colour, length and style shift between films, shows and red carpets, so a crop of hair alone gives you very little to hold on to.
Can I make a funny hair troll quiz for my friends?
Yes. Go to Make a quiz, mix faces from the library and share the link in your group chat. You can see how many people got it wrong.
Is the guess the celebrity hair game free?
